Card on File

At 407 MAIDS Inc., the trust and security of our customers are paramount. We understand the importance of protecting your personal and financial information, which is why we've implemented our secure Card on File process powered by Square.

Here's a quick look at how this process works and should take less than 2 minutes.

1. Invoice Receipt: Upon booking, you'll receive an email with a $1.00 invoice from Square.
2. Secure Payment Page: Clicking 'Pay invoice' takes you to a secure Square payment page.
3. Card Information Entry: Enter your credit card details on this page.
4. Do not use Apple Pay or Google Pay as Square will not be able to store your card in that case.
5. Consent Checkbox: Make sure to check the checkbox for 'Save my card on file with 407 MAIDS Inc.'
6. Final Confirmation: Hit the 'Pay $1.00' button, and you're all set!

Please note that we will have to send a second invoice and repeat the process, if:

• You forget to check the checkbox for 'Save my card on file with 407 MAIDS Inc.'
• You choose Apple Pay or Google Pay - You need to manually enter your credit card numbers and Square will encrypt it and securely store it.

After successful completion of this process, your credit card information is encrypted and securely stored by Square, and we don't have access to your full card information. We can only see the last 4 digits of the card and the expiration date. This is normally the same information that is printed on every receipt that you get when you purchase something at Publix, Walmart or any other merchant.

For your protection, at no point is your full credit card information exposed to any of the representatives/employees of 407 MAIDS.

We only use the Card on File in these scenarios:

• You opt to pay for the service with the card on file instead of a check.
• If a check is unavailable or not left for the cleaner.
• If a check is returned for any reason.
• For any fees outlined in our Terms of Service, such as Cancellation Fee, Late Cancellation Fee, Lockout Fee or Returned Check Fee.
• If additional cleaning time is approved by you during a service, beyond the time covered by the initial check payment.

Please note that there is a 3.5% service fee added for credit card payments.

All of our customers have a card on file, but most of our customers pay for their cleanings with a check. There is no service fee for check payments.
